Verified Gross Mass (VGM), declared against the load you actually built
Under SOLAS Chapter VI, a packed container cannot be loaded aboard a vessel without a verified gross mass. LoadingMCP computes the VGM per container (tare plus cargo plus dunnage) as you build the plan, and cross-checks any weighbridge (Method 1) or calculated (Method 2) figure you declare against that estimate.
- Per-container VGM = tare + cargo + dunnage, computed live as you pack.
- Declared Method 1 / Method 2 value cross-checked against the estimate; a wide gap is flagged.
- Over the CSC-plate max gross mass → a hard blocker, not a silent pass.
