Class 2.1 — Flammable gases: IMDG segregation

Class 2.1 (flammable gases) must be kept segregated from most other dangerous goods. It cannot share a container with 10 of the other classes — including Class 1.1, Class 1.3, Class 1.4, Class 3 and more. The table below gives the exact code against every class.

Based on the IMDG Code 7.2.4 general segregation table (main classes only). Individual substances can carry stricter or looser rules in their Dangerous Goods List entry (column 16b) — always verify the specific UN numbers before stowing a real load.
